Tatiana Bastos was born is São Paulo, Brazil, in 1983. Bachelor in Creative Advertisement from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, Sāo Paulo, also studied Fine Arts at The Art Students League of NY in New York City where she took classes with names like Bruce Dorfman and Anthony Palumbo. Back in Brazil, studied Creative Graphic Design at the Panamericana School of Arts and Design, one of the world’s lead avant-garde design institutions. 

Started to work in the Art Department still while living in Brazil, around 2006. For the past decade, has lived and worked in Greece, Spain, Austria and Germany. Is now based in Berlin and has completed more than twenty five projects in Germany such as feature, medium and short films, TV shows and music videos. Has collaborated with RBB, Arte, DFFB, ZDF and has had films showed at international festivals as Berlinale and screening platforms as MUBI. In 2020, the medium long film “I Want To Return Return Return Return” (for which she did the Art Direction) was selected for the Cannes Cinéfondation.
